The ST70+ is fully waterproof to IPX6 standard, making it ideal for mounting externally.  The extra large display ensures it can be seen on a mast or bridge.  It can be surface, flush or panel mounted, and the sunlight viewable display is further enhanced thanks to its backlighting options.  Users can choose from red or white backlighting, and for additional clarity can select inverse text – white characters displayed on a black background; a number of other colour options are available.

With all the available room on the instrument face used for displaying data, the ST70+ is operated using a dedicated remote control keypad.  There are three options of keypad design, with a push button only pilot keypad for sailboats, a rotary pilot keypad for powerboats, and a combination push button and rotary keypad for instrument control.

With eight user-defined instrument data pages, and 25 screen layout options for each page, users can select display data from three main areas – speed, depth and wind, with drop down data including detail such as trolling speed and velocity made good to waypoint; depth log; ground wind direction, and historical view of maximum or minimum true wind.

Using Raymarine’s new generation SeaTalkng data bus architecture, the ST70+ can interface with multiple ST70 instruments, the G Series and E Series, transducers and NMEA 2000 compatible devices, to also show engine, generator, and environmental data.

The ST70+ can be configured as an instrument or autopilot display.  It features large bright icons, and its intuitive operating menu makes it easy for users to understand and access the many features available.  It comes in a choice of 17 different language options including Korean, Chinese, Russian and Greek, plus mainstream European languages.

The ST70+ display is designed as a top of the range high performance instrument or autopilot display, and is targeted at premium powerboats, luxury cruisers, sailing yachts and high end sport fishing vessels.
